When prospective clients make their first call to our office, they often are in varying stages of the planning process. A new client may indicate they want to change their home, but do not know how to go about starting the process. As a Design-Build contractor, we will discuss your ideas and desires. We will look at your existing home with you, and we will discuss your budget. Working together, we will draw and refine plans to build exactly what you want. Since we both Design and Build, we are able to continually update cost estimates as we proceed, so we stay within your budget.
If you already have your own ideas sketched out, we will work with you to price your plans and ensure that they are buildable. We may be able to suggest changes or refinements that will enhance the enjoyment and value of your home.
If you have professionally drawn building plans, we will be happy to give an estimate of the construction cost. We can build exactly to your specifications if you wish.
Project Design / Interior Design
Our Interior Design staff is available to assist with the many decisions required during a remodeling project or addition. Our design professionals will be happy to offer guidance regarding the selection of items such as: Appliances, Plumbing Fixtures, Countertops, Tile, Flooring, Colors or anything else you may have questions about.
We are able to recommend reliable suppliers, with whom we have experience. Upon your request, we will visit various showrooms with you to assist as you make your decisions.
Renovation Work
Remodeling homes is challenging and exciting work. We are experienced in redesigning and building on existing structures, and we will cause the least disruption possible to your normal routines while remodeling your home.
The skills, personnel, and tools necessary for remodeling work are different than those used for new construction. We specialize in residential remodeling and additions, and have experienced field and office staff available to work with you throughout every phase of your project.
Additions
Jeff Easter Remodeling has the knowledge and experience to design and construct an addition for your existing home. Based on your requirements and budget, we will make size recommendations that will compliment the design of your home, the shape and layout of your property, the interior flow of your house, and that will capitalize on the outside vistas.
Architectural Drawings
We can prepare buildable drawings, complete with cost estimates, for you to use with your future planning. Many prospective home buyers ask us to discuss design modifications with them before making a purchase offer on a home.
Green Building
We offer a wide selection of green building choices, which are so important to many home owners today. We are prepared to discuss the advantages and costs of the available options with you. Here are just a few of the many green options we regularly provide for our clients:

We adhere to good, solid, proper construction practices. Some contractors may take small shortcuts when installing windows, doors or roofs in order to save a few dollars. These shortcuts will often allow water to seep in behind outer surfaces, damaging framework and reducing the life of the structure. A green home is one that will endure for many years without repairs which would require purchasing and use of additional materials, and disposal of existing damaged materials.

We are a general contractor, Virginia Class A license number 2705 055160A. We are able to fully coordinate all phases of your project.
